Italy opens visa center in Odesa

Italian ambassador says that it is also planned to open a consulate in Odesa. (UBO) – Italy has opened a visa application center in Odesa. Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Fabrizio Romano, who visited the city for the first time, told this to reporters on Sunday.

“The embassy opened a visa center in Odesa that will accept documents from those wishing to come to Italy. I insistently advise everyone who wants to get a visa to Italy to apply to this center. The opening of the visa center is part of major program measures to optimize the embassy's visa service in general, which was introduced after I arrived in Kyiv. The center has already been running for several days. Now we are trying to get closer to Schengen standards for issuing documents - ten days,” Romano said.

He said that it is also planned to open a consulate in Odesa.
