A sweets festival will be held in Sevastopol

The first ever sweets festival will take place in Sevastopol, in a children’s center called Lukomorye. The event will be held in early June of 2013. The news was reported by Crimean media following an announcement from Nikolai Pomogalov, the head of children’s center Lukomorye.

The sweets festival will start with the City Day that is celebrated in Sevastopol on the same day as Children's Day (June 1). Every day of the fest will be dedicated to one of the many sweet dishes that are popular among children. For instance, the first day will be the Ice Cream Day. The next day will be all about cocoa, and Cocoa Princess will be chosen the same day. The third day of the festival will be dedicated to desserts.

Leading Crimean and Ukrainian manufacturers of desserts will come to Sevastopol to prepare all kinds of sweet dishes. Organizers of the event emphasize that they will only cooperate with manufacturers who use eco-friendly ingredients in their produce.
